Jamaican Festival Mix 450g

Ingredients -  Wheat Flour, sugar, corn starch, dehydrated glucose syrup, partially hydrogenated palm oil, salt, raising agents E-500, E341, and E450, emulsifiers E-472a and E471, milk proteins. may contain traces of soy and egg. Once opened store in a cool dry place.

Country of Origin  -  Jamaica

Instructions - Mix the contents of the packet with 4 ¼ cups of water. Using your hands, kneed the mixture together to make a dough. Let it stand for  10-15 minutes covered by a damp cloth. Cut or pull apart the dough into equal portions and flour lightly. Shape into finger-sized pieces and then flatten. Fry in preheated oil of about 2.5cm deep. Turn occasionally and cook until golden brown. Remove from the pan and blot off any excess oil with a paper towel. Serve hot.
