Important Notice: Returns and Cancellations Policy for 'Dry' Non-Perishable Goods

Returns Policy for 'Dry' Non-Perishable Goods:

If you have made a purchase of 'Dry' non-perishable goods from our online store, you have the right to a "cooling-off" period in accordance with the EU Consumer Contacts Regulations (14 calendar days) and the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 (30 days). During this period, you may withdraw from the contract and return your purchases to us. However, please note that perishable goods are excluded from these cooling-off periods, as they may not reasonably last as long as the specified 14-day or 30-day thresholds.

If you wish to return any 'Dry' non-perishable products, please inform us within 24 hours of receiving your delivery. Returns must be made at your own expense and within 7 days of receiving the delivery. Kindly be aware that we can only accept returns of 'Dry' non-perishable products, and we are unable to process returns for any fresh or frozen products. All returns must be received in their original condition.

Damaged Products:

In the unfortunate event that any of your products arrive damaged, please contact us immediately. You can reach us at +44 203 818 5808 or email us at support@myafricacaribbean.com. Please provide an image of the damaged product along with your Order Number and a description of the issue. If the damage is due to reasons beyond your control, we will gladly replace or refund the affected item(s).

Cancellations Policy for 'Dry' Non-Perishable and Frozen Goods:

As per your rights when shopping online, you have a "cooling-off" period of 14 calendar days (EU Consumer Contacts Regulations) and up to 30 days (UK Consumer Rights Act 2015) during which you can withdraw from the contract and return your purchases to us. However, please be aware that this cooling-off period does not apply to perishable goods due to their limited shelf life.

If you wish to cancel an order for 'Dry' non-perishable or frozen goods, please submit your cancellation request before 11 am on your Dispatch Date. You can find specific details in your Order Confirmation email and Order History. Please note that once we have sourced perishable products at your request, we cannot cancel or refund orders for these items. The perishable products include:

  • Fresh/Frozen meat
  • Fresh/Frozen poultry
  • Fresh/Frozen seafood
  • Fresh/Frozen cheese
  • Fresh/Frozen Desserts

Before making payment and completing your order, please carefully review your Shopping Cart/Basket and check the details provided in your Order Confirmation email. My Africa Caribbean cannot be held responsible for acting in good faith based on incorrect information received.
